The Blacksmith’s Museum is situated in the blacksmith’s workshop of Gustav Katzke (1868–1944) in the heart of the old town where the workshop was active in the late 19^th and early 20^th century.
The exhibits comprise such items as e.g. authentic blacksmith tools, bellows, forge, hand-forged weathervanes typical of the harbour city, iron burial crosses dating from the late 19^th and early 20^th century and fences from the old city’s cemetery (now the Sculpture Park).

One may have a piece of a Baltic decoration made with the help of the museum staff in a genuine blacksmith’s workshop atmosphere.
